New York City mayor sends message of support for Napoli

Mayor Bill de Blasio took to twitter to offer a message of support for Napoli on Thursday.

The vital Serie A clash between Napoli and Juventus is fast approaching, and support is ringing out for Napoli from all corners -- including one very surprising one in New York City mayor Bill de Blasio.

Now, I wouldn't exactly call Juventus "toothless" without Andrea Pirlo, but I guess he had to get some banter in and praise New York City FC a little at the same time.

Still, it's an awfully nice gesture to see, and from an unexpected source. It goes to show that there really are Napoli fans everywhere.
