We've got anoter more Calciomercato poll that were released on Saturday to help see who the fans think the best Serie A players were at each position on the pitch. Siren's Song readers already helped Elseid Hysaj run away with the vote for the best right back -- now it's time to help win more accolades for Napoli stars.
Allan is up for best midfielder, going head to head with the likes of Paul Pogba, Borja Valero, Marcelo Brozovic, Miralem Pjanic, and Claudio Marchisio to see who's the best in the middle of the pitch in Italy.
WHO's been the best CM in #SerieA? (1/2) VOTE!
— Calciomercatocom(En) (@CmdotCom_En) December 26, 2015
Allan has been a revelation this season for Napoli, turning in the best year of his career so far. His qualities in the defensive phase have taken another step forward from their already-notable level he'd already been at, and he's also been a pleasant surprise as an attacking player as well. Allan doesn't put in a ton of high-quality balls as a playmaker does, but his ability to reliably get the ball to a playmaker or another player in space is notable, and his knack for finding the ball off a rebound has created numerous goals for Napoli this season, both scoring for himself and using it to set up a teammate.
Right now, he's dominating the Twitter vote, winning 58% of the votes on his side of the poll, with Marchisio and Pjanic splitting most of the votes on the other side. The online poll is another matter entirely -- Allan has only 3% of the vote as of time of writing, with Brozovic and Valero running away with the poll with over 30% each, and Pogba a distant third at 17%.
Go vote in the twitter poll above, and help Allan out in the online poll as well. We want to see as many Napoli players as we can on the final voting XI!
