David Lopez scores equalizing goal off penalty rebound for Napoli against Juventus

Napoli struggled through the first half of their crucial match against Juventus, giving up a terrible goal early on, but came out of halftime like a team on fire. That helped earn the partenopei a penalty, when Dries Mertens fired a ball through three Juventus defenders trying to get it to Jose Callejon, and his pass banged off the arm of Kwadwo Asamoah.

Up stepped Lorenzo Insigne to try to beat the venerable Gianluigi Buffon:

His effort was saved, but look at that run to the post from David Lopez. He was already moving when Insigne shot, but as soon as the ball deflected off Buffon's glove, he was like a heat-seeking missile looking to get on the end of it and smash it home.

The goal was the first Serie A tally for Lopez this season, just two and a half weeks after he scored his first Napoli goal in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal against Dnipro.
