After Dries Mertens scored Napoli's first to level the score and set up their second, Cesena found an equalizer just before halftime. With Napoli desperately needing a win, Mertens put the team on his small shoulders once more to retake the lead.
It was a lovely little combination effort with Marek Hamsik to cut open a crowded defense and get the badly-needed goal. Now Napoli could do with two or three more goals of their own, because their defense has been all kinds of shaky today.
