Inter Milan v. Napoli: Lineups, match discussion, and vengeance

Claudio Villa

It's time for Napoli to face Inter Milan at the San Siro. It's time to see if Walter Mazzarri can hold on to his job. It's time to see if Napoli can kick ass away from home.

Napoli's lineup is mostly first choice, but with two exceptions. Jorginho is fit and in the squad, but apparently not quite fit to start just yet, as David Lopez is in midfield alongside Gokhan Inler. That's fine, as Lopez has done well when called upon this season.

The move that's not so fine is Miguel Britos starting at left back. He's been a disaster at left back this season, so with all four of Napoli's fullbacks healthy and available, why on earth is Britos starting out wide again? Faouzi Ghoulam and Camilo Zuniga have both been more than fine on the left, far better than Britos at any rate, and this is a matchup that needs two proper fullbacks, not one fullback and a center back doing an awful job of pretending to be a fullback.

Rafa gonna Rafa, but... come on.

Inter Milan (3-5-2): Handanovic; Ranocchia, Vidic, Juan Jesus; Obi, Hernanes, Medel, Kovacic, Dodo; Palacio, Icardi

Napoli (4-2-3-1): Rafael; Zuniga, Albiol, Koulibaly, Britos; Inler, Lopez; Insigne, Hamsik, Callejon; Higuain
