Spain and Italy call-ups make it 16 Napoli players on international duty

Four more players have been called up for internationals, with Spain and Italy calling in two Napoli players apiece.

Christian Maggio and Pepe Reina have been called into their national sides as they usually are, but they'll each be joined in their national sides by a club player on the fringes of being a regular for their country. Lorenzo Insigne has been called up for Italy's friendly against Argentina, while Raul Albiol has been called up for Spain, who will face Ecuador during the international break.

Insigne, who made his Azzurri debut in 2012, had a brilliant European Under-21 Championship with the Italian Under-21 side and should have plenty of chances to break into the senior team ahead of the World Cup. Albiol has been in an out of the Spain team as he's struggled to win a place in the Real Madrid side, but he could find more opportunities to play for La Roja if he's first choice in Naples. Sergio Ramos and Inigo Martinez -- the later of whom is uncapped -- are the only two other natural center backs in the squad.

These four call-ups mean Napoli have 16 players on international duty next week.
