Napoli's latest and biggest friendly of the summer is here, pitting them against one of the best teams in France and a team who have made a lot of noise in the Champions League the last couple of years. Monaco may not be the ultra-elite team their ownership wants them to be, but they are still very, very good, and represent a stern test for Napoli.

The paretenopei have had a perfect preseason so far, winning every match and having yet to concede a goal. Their most recent match was a 3-0 win over another French side in Nice, but Monaco are a big step up in terms of competitive difficulty, making this game a much greater challenge.

Napoli will be without Emanuele Giaccherini thanks to injury, but we should get our first look at new striker Arkadiusz Milik at some point during the match. We shouldn't expect too much from the Polish attacker just yet given that he's only been with the club for a week, but it will be good to see him on the field getting work in with his new teammates.
