It's time for the all-important Derby del Sole. Napoli are in Rome to take on the hostile Stadio Olimpico crowd -- and oh yeah, they have to play Roma too. With how close the race for second place in Serie A has become, this match could prove to be huge by the time all is said and done, and the pressure is on.
Maurizio Sarri made one interesting lineup decision, electing to keep the hot hand -- foot? -- of Dries Mertens in the lineup instead of the once-totemic but now-struggling Lorenzo Insigne. The Little General hasn't been the same since he was robbed at gunpoint earlier this year -- hardly shocking, but unfortunate for the club all the same. Despite sticking with one hot player, Sarri decided to leave Manolo Gabbiadini on the bench despite Jose Callejon's form also slumping -- hopefully that doesn't come back to bite Napoli against a very strong Roma side.
Let's just hope this Italian holiday proves a happy one for Napoli fans
