Napoli won their third pre-season friendly on Wednesday, thrashing Lega Pro side Cittadella 5-1 in possibly Napoli's most complete performance so far this summer.

Lorenzo Insigne was the star of the show again, continuing his hot form by scoring a brace with a goal at either side of halftime, before eventually getting subbed out for Omar El Kaddouri. El Kaddouri would score Napoli's fourth goal, with Dries Mertens ending the scoring with a late tally of his own.

Raul Albiol scored the opener off a delicious corner service from Mirko Valdifiori just five minutes into the match, but had to leave the match before the first half was over. He was involved in a clash of heads with a Cittadella attacker 32 minutes in, and looked incredibly woozy and shaken while being tended to by Napoli's physios, leading to concussion concerns for the Spanish defender.

Albiol was quickly replaced by Henrique, who was involved in Cittadella's 56th minute goal when he kept backing off Claudio Coralli for no particular reason. That wasn't the best impression for Napoli's current third centerback to give, but there's hope(!), because incoming signing Vlad Chiriches was spotted in the stands wearing Napoli gear, suggesting that a signing is coming soon.

While Napoli's first three friendlies have all been lopsided wins against low-level teams, the difficulty level is about to get ramped up -- their next friendly is against Ligue 1 side OGC Nice in France on August 2nd, followed by a trip to Porto on August 8th. We're going to learn a lot about the state of the side in those two matches, so pay very, very close attention to them.
