Fans of both Napoli and the Italian national team have been excited to get a look at Manolo Gabbiadini in the Gli Azzurri side after being called in by Antionio Conte. Gabbiadini has, until the team's recent struggles, been in fantastic form since joining Napoli, and many want to see what he can do on the international stage after only getting two senior caps so far in his career.

For now, though, we're in a moment of concern. The forward was experiencing pain and cramping in his left thigh when he was subbed out against Atalanta, and has been somewhat limited in training since joining the Italy side because of it. Fortunately, the head of the national team's medical staff doesn't seem too worried.

"We think that he can stay with us," Enrico Castellacci told the press in a medical update for the national team. "We shall monitor him in the next few days because muscular problems always demand great attention, but there is no cause for concern, fortunately."

That news is worthy of a sigh of relief from Napoli fans, who had been dreading the thought of losing Gabbiadini for any stretch of time with so much of the rest of Napoli's attack out of form. Now we just have to hope that he doesn't get broken while he's away.
