We finally have news on Kalidou Koulibaly's injury, and while it's not as bad as feared, it's also not particularly good.
The French defender will be out at least seven days, putting him out for Sunday's match against Hellas Verona and almost certainly excluding him from the trip to Russia to face Dynamo Moscow in the second leg of the Europa League round of 16 tie. His status for next weekend's match against Atalanta is unknown, but don't be shocked if he doesn't play then either.
Koulibaly appeared to suffer an injury to his ankle or near it, but Napoli are only calling it a leg injury for now. He had to be substituted just eight minutes in to Thursday's 3-1 win over Dynamo, and his absence will be keenly felt for these next two-plus matches. Koulibaly has been Napoli's best defender by far this season, and losing him for any siginificant stretch of time is a big loss for the side.
