Napoli beat the top team in the table!

Oh, that was fun. Goals from Lorenzo Insigne and Gonzalo Higuain mean that Napoli earned their third straight league win and one of their most important of the season, taking down first-place Fiorentina and vaulting themselves into the middle of the pack of teams chasing one another near the top of the table.

It was an excellent performance from Napoli, who overcame a frustrating first half that saw both sides more or less cancel each other out tactically. Napoli kept probing and trying different things despite their issues in the first half, though, and that helped lead to a quick goal in the second half that sparked Napoli's ascension into full control of the match.

Insigne was excellent, Hamsik was excellent, Allan was excellent, Koulibaly was very good, heck even Reina couldn't get complaints today. Napoli are well and truly one of the best teams in Italy right now, and they proved that in a big way today. Forza Napoli!
