Henrique out as Napoli prepare to face Genoa

Napoli are down a defender for Monday's match, but are as close to full strength as they can get otherwise.

Both central defenders from the midweek Coppa match against Udinese were in question leading up to Monday's match, but with the matchday squad in, only one will actually miss out when Napoli play Genoa.

Both Miguel Britos and Henrique Buss sustained knocks on Thursday that left them in doubt, but Britos was apparently able to recover in time to be named to the matchday squad. Not so lucky was Henrique, who's out with a "muscular issue."

Neither player was expected to play anyways, with Rafa Benitez believed to be going with a full-strength lineup against Genoa, with the possible exception of Marek Hamsik after he played all two hours on Thursday. Don't be surprised if we do see Britos at some point as a sub for Ivan Strinic, as the Croatian also played the full match; Britos probably isn't fit to start, but asking Strinic to go the full match for a third time in eight days with how tired his legs must be after the Udinese match is risky.

Walter Gargano misses out on the match with a yellow card accumulation suspension. Faouzi Ghoulam is still at AFCON with Algeria, though that could change soon if Tuesday's result goes against them. Lorenzo Insigne, Camilo Zuniga, and Michu remain out with their assorted injuries.

The full 19-man squad available against Genoa is listed below.

Goalkeepers: Rafael Cabral, Mariano Andujar, Roberto Colombo

Defenders: Christian Maggio, Giandomenico Mesto, Miguel Britos, Ivan Strinic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Raul Albiol

Midfielders: David Lopez, Jorginho, Gokhan Inler, Jonathan De Guzman, Dries Mertens, Marek Hamsik

Forwards: Manolo Gabbiadini, Jose Callejon, Duvan Zapata, Gonzalo Higuain
