Napoli v. Sparta Prague: Europa League lineups, discussion, and viewing

New, comments

The start of Napoli's Europa League campaign is upon us, as Sparta Prague come to Italy for a little visit. Napoli will be searching for redemption after a start to the season that has left the fanbase bristling with disappointment, and Sparta will be looking to play the upset card, something they're not half bad at doing.

Sparta are rolling out a pretty full-strength lineup as far as the Czech side goes, while Napoli have gone with a mish-mash of starters and reserves. Henrique Buss and Miguel Britos are the fullbacks, while Walter Gargano replaces Jorginho in midfield and Dries Mertens steps in for Lorenzo Insigne. Gonzalo Higuain is starting up top despite injury concerns earlier in the week, which seems... risky.

Just don't screw this one up, OK guys?

Napoli: Rafael; Henrique, Koulibaly, Albiol, Britos; Inler, Gargano; Mertens, Hamsik, Callejon; Higuain

Sparta Prague: Bičík; Brabec, Kovac, Kadeřábek, Nhamoinesu; Matejovsky, Dockal, Marecek; Husbauer, Krejci, Lafata

The match starts shortly at 9:15 p.m. CET / 3:15 p.m. ET
