The friendly against Barcelona in Geneva, Switzerland is finally here, and the lineups are in for your perusal.
Napoli are putting out basically the same starting lineup as against PAOK, but with two changes: Christian Maggio comes in for Giandomenico Mesto, and Lorenzo Insigne starts in place of Dries Mertens. Neither change is especially surprising, and it's good to see Kalidou Koulibaly given a chance to further prove himself against top-shelf competition. It'd be nice if Faouzi Ghoulam was in the lineup at left back instead of Miguel Britos, though...
For Barcelona, there's no major surprises. Claudio Bravo makes his pre-season debut in goal over Marc Andre ter Stegen, and the defense and midfield are as close to first-choice as possible given available players. Pedro is the only Barca regular on the front line, though, so Los Cules may struggle some in the final third with two more inexperienced players joining him.
Lineups:
Napoli (4-2-3-1): Rafael; Maggio, Albiol, Koulibaly, Britos; Jorginho, Gargano; Callejon, Hamsik, Insigne; Zapata
Barcelona (4-3-3): Bravo; Montoya, Pique, Bartra, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta; Rafinha, Munir, Pedro
