Sassuolo vs. Napoli: Lineups + Match Talk

New, comments

Rafa Benítez is taking no chances against Sassuolo this time, putting in Marek Hamšík, Dries Mertens and Gonzalo Higuaín right from the start.

Hey, remember the reverse of this fixture? Of course you do. Napoli had beaten Dortmund the week before, then gone on to victory over AC Milan. Rafa Benítez, in all his wisdom, decided to field a weakened squad against Sassuolo, just after they'd received a 7-0 beating from Inter Milan. And of course, that became the match in which Sassuolo claimed their first Serie A point.

But Rafa seems to have learned his lesson - either that, or he just doesn't care about Swansea on Thursday. Gokhan Inler, Jorginho and Ziggy are all suspended, and Pepe Reina gets a rest, but other than that, this is a strong lineup.
