The matchday squad for Napoli's tilt against Fiorentina has been released, and fortunately there's no major surprises for this one. As expected, both Marek Hamsik and David Lopez will be available for selection again, although Hamsik is apparently not completely back to himself. A bad fever kept him out against Young Boys, so a start for Napoli's captain is not guaranteed unless he recovers enough to give at least an hour's effort on the pitch.
Of mild surprise is the presence of Miguel Britos in the matchday squad. Napoli had said that he didn't require further evaluation after his head injury on Thursday, but with him having dizzy spells on the pitch thanks to the poor handing of the injury, it's surprising that he's available again so quickly.
After a fair bit of midweek rotation, expect to see a more full-strength Napoli side. The club's stronger pivot pairing of Jorginho and Lopez should definitely see a return, and both Jose Callejon and Gonzalo Higuain are a certainty to reclaim their spots in attack. Who starts of Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens is a little more mysterious than usual, though Insigne likely holds an energy edge after getting subbed off on Thursday.
Michu and Camilo Zuniga continue to sit out with their respective injuries. The full 21 man squad available for Sunday is below. Once again, Josip Radosevic is not on the bench despite space in the matchday squad.
Goalkeepers: Rafael Cabral, Mariano Andujar, Roberto Colombo
Defenders: Giandomenico Mesto, Christian Maggio, Faouzi Ghoulam, Henrique Buss, Miguel Britos, Raul Albiol, Kalidou Koulibaly
Midfielders: Jorginho, Gokhan Inler, Walter Gargano, David Lopez, Dries Mertens, Jonathan De Guzman, Marek Hamsik
