Second place is, probably, out of Napoli’s reach in Serie A this season. That sucks, but they can still give themselves some chance of reaching that goal by winning out, and that means starting with an emphatic win in their last match at the San Paolo this season over Fiorentina.

Napoli’s new Three Tenors will be hoping to lead Napoli’s attack past a Fiorentina side that has been in wildly inconsistent form all season long. Despite their struggles, though, Fiorentina can put in a very good defensive display, meaning that Napoli will have to be sharp and incisive, using their momentum from last weekend’s huge win over Torino to propel them to even greater heights of form.

It won’t be a cakewalk, but with Fiorentina struggling for form, fitness, and at times even for motivation, it’s completely doable, especially with the San Paolo rocking and rolling as fans celebrate the season and hoping to send the team off on a high note. It’s been a wild ride of a year, and hopefully Napoli can finish strong and build for an even better campaign next season.
