Napoli had struggled all match long to break down a determined but shorthanded AC Milan defense, who had been down a man all match long when Mattia De Sciglio got sent off in the first minute. Then Marek Hamsik, captain and spiky-haired godling, pounced on a crucial mistake.
Daniele Bonera made a poor effort to head a ball clear, and Hamsik was able to pounce on it and fired it home strongly to finally break the deadlock after 70 long, agonizing minutes. Now the rout is on, and Napoli have scored two more in the few minutes since then. This is getting fun.
