It's time for yet another vital, must-win match for Napoli, because at this point every match from now to the end of the season is a must-win for the partenopei. Today's (hopeful) victim is Inter Milan, with Roberto Mancini's side also hoping to bounce back from a disappointing loss while preparing for a key Europa League match at midweek.
Napoli and Rafa Benitez make five changes to the lineup today, with Jonathan De Guzman, Manolo Gabbiadini, Faouzi Ghoulam, Miguel Britos, and Giandomenico Mesto all kidding the bench after playing midweek against Lazio. In their place are Marek Hamsik, Jose Callejon, Ivan Strinic, and Henrique, a set that if anything leaves Napoli with a stronger overall starting eleven today than at midweek.
For Inter, the only particular surprise in the lineup is that Mauro Icardi was deemed fit to start. He had been considered a doubt to be able to play today, and most thought he'd be left on the bench in order to make sure he'd be ready to face Wolfsburg on Thursday since he's just coming off an injury. Apparently Mancini disagreed with that particular line of thinking.
Napoli: Andujar; Henrique, Albiol, Koulibaly, Strinic; Inler, Lopez; Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens; Higuain
Inter: Handanovic, D'Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Juan, Santon, Guarin, Medel, Brozovic, Shaqiri, Palacio, Icardi
