Napoli are on a massive high right now, riding into this weekend in first place in Serie A. There's no sinking in for that feeling. Napoli are on top of the table. They're the best team in Italy. They're in pole position. Carrying the baton. No matter how you slice it, things are pretty incredible for Napoli right now.
But now that they've climbed to the top of the mountain, they need to keep doing the same work, and keep getting better in order to make sure they say there. That job starts with a trip to Bologna, a newly-promoted team who are sitting in the relegation zone once more.
On the surface, winning this match is an easy task. Bologna are struggling, having lost more than twice as many matches as they've won. But they play the same kind of tight, contained football that Napoli have struggled against at times this season, and they've got a few individual talents that can cause Napoli a lot of problems, including Emanuele Giaccherini and Mattia Destro. They'll need to be focused and as driven as they've been to make sure not to fall off the top of the mountain.
