Roma v. Napoli: Coppa Italia Lineups & Match Thread

Napoli face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico as they try to build an advantage in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semis.

The first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final is about to begin, with Napoli making the trek to Roma hoping to keep the scoreline manageable and bag an away goal or two.

Both sides have gone with about as full-strength a lineup as they can right now. Rudi Garcia is sending out his typical 4-3-3, with Daniele De Rossi in a holding role, Kevin Strootman doing most of the playmaking, and Radja Nainggolan marauding up and down the pitch. Up top, the ageless Francesco Totti is sure to wreak havoc, and Gervinho's hairline has been in fine form of late as well. Roma have been a tough nut to crack this season, and Napoli will have to work hard to come away with any sort of advantage after today.

Rafa Benitez has gone with a fairly typical lineup, though Anthony Reveillere lines up at left back instead of Faouzi Ghoulam as some expect. Benitez has been hesitant to throw in brand-new players in important Cup matches with past clubs, so that's not actually terribly surprising. Thankfully, Goran Pandev is planted firmly on the bench.

Lineups:

Roma (4-3-3): De Sanctis; Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Torosidis; Nainggolan, De Rossi, Strootman; Ljajic, Totti, Gervinho

Napoli (4-2-3-1): Reina; Maggio, Fernandez, Albiol, Reveillere; Inler, Jorginho; Insigne, Hamsik, Callejon; Higuain
