And we've got a done deal! Remember how we said that it seems unlikely that Faouzi Ghoulam would sign for Napoli without Aurelio De Laurentiis tweeting about it? Well, he's tweeted about it.

Then the news became official on the Napoli website. A photo of Ghoulam signing a contract, along with the news that he'll remain at Napoli until 2018. It's thought the fee is around €5m.

By now, y'all should probably know the rough details of Ghoulam. Aged 22, he's spent his entire senior career (and much of his youth) at Saint-Étienne. While capped at the U-21 level for France, he started for Algeria in a World Cup qualifying match, earning his first cap for the country. Oh, and he turns 23 tomorrow - what a lovely birthday present.

But enough of the boring stuff. Let's celebrate. Napoli bought a left back.

And we will not need to watch Pablo Armero in a Napoli kit again this season.
