Napoli vs. Parma: Lineups + Match Talk

Care to share your thoughts on the Napoli-Parma matchup? Well, you've found the right place.

Dino Panato

The moment has arrived, the time we've all been waiting for: it's time to discover who Rafa Benítez deemed should start for Napoli against Parma. Drum roll, please...

And the lineup is exactly as predicted -- even if we supporters might not agree with every detail. Miguel Britos returns after a long injury layoff, giving Federico Fernández a chance to rest after his exertions with Argentina. It's Gokhan Inler and Valon Behrami that will protect the fragile defense, so we might see Blerim Džemaili against Dortmund.

In the attack, Marek Hamšík, who took a knock while on duty with Slovakia, is rested in favor of Goran Pandev, who will play just behind Gonzalo Higuaín. Finally, it's Lorenzo Insigne on the left, with Dries Mertens likely to take up that role on Tuesday evening.

Lineups

Napoli: Reina; Maggio, Albiol, Britos, Armero; Inler, Behrami; Callejòn, Pandev, Insigne; Higuain

Parma:Mirante, Cassani, Gargano, Lucarelli (cap), Biabiany, Parolo, Gobbi, Felipe, Sansone, Marchionni (vk), Cassano
