As Napoli sit down to contract talks with Edinson Cavani, our esteemed owner has some words of advice to El Matador:

Cavani? He can rot on the bench if he asks for €7-8m.

Hey, Mr. De Laurentiis? You're talking about ponying up the money for another football club. Meanwhile, the oil tycoons and Arabian royalty are scooping up the world's best players. You really don't think the Chelseas and the Manchester Citys of the world aren't going to drop a few pennies on Napoli's star forward? They'll pay that much to put him on as a substitute.

Of course, ADL has said that no club has put in an offer for Cavani this summer, but then again, that man says quite a bit of things. Bite your tongue, Aurelio, and give Edy anything he wants. Because most of us don't want to watch our partenopei being led by Goran Pandev, backed up by Marek Hamsik, while Lorenzo Insigne is sent off to learn more in Serie B.
